It is no secret with my family how much I love my iphone. Now don’t get me wrong I am not necessarily endorsing Apple, because I do think they could do things better, but that is a whole different story altogether. However I am grateful for the technology that we are presented with these days. As frustrating as it can be sometimes, for the most part I think it is nothing short of fantastic that I can carry around this little camera that has a phone attached to it(you see this is the way I feel about it!!). For me it is snapping daily life and things that catch my ‘i’ and then being able to instantly share it.I really came into making use of this technology recently living here in Australia while my husband, Wade, was away guiding in the mountains of BC Canada. I could be on the beach with limited internet access and still take a photo of the kids, or the scenery and email it to him right there and then all the way across the world to Bella Coola BC.
I have since been having a little fun on instagram and have decided to not only share with you a gallery of a few of my shots but also share with you some other photography links to people and events that are happening around the globe in an effort to encourage everyone to have fun with their iphone.
My friend and fellow photographer in BC Canada Brian Noppe is running some great workshops in Vancouver, Whistler and Squamish which are designed to get people taking some great shots with their iphone. Take a look here:
